Why your service dog donation matters
The American Service Dog Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Columbus, Ohio. We identify dogs with the right temperament, fund professional training, and place fully trained service dogs free of charge with people with disabilities.
Dogs come from Ohio shelters and owner donations. Every placement is different — some recipients bring their own dog, others are matched with a dog we find. Not every dog passes the program, but donors make it possible to keep trying until the right match is ready.
